Support for CatchIQ

Because it does. CatchIQ only reports a pattern when your own history genuinely supports one, which usually takes a few dozen logged sessions — including the blank ones. Every finding shows the number of sessions behind it, so you can judge it yourself. An app that shows you a confident pattern in week one is showing you a coincidence.

They are half the arithmetic. “Dawn works for me” only means something measured against how often you fished at dawn and caught nothing. A logbook that records only successes will tell you that everything works.

An estimated weight is your judgement, not a measurement. CatchIQ keeps it, shows it and marks it — but leaves it out of your biggest-fish record and out of any finding about size, so a good guess never becomes a personal best you only half believe.

That is a real answer. It means nothing in your record yet separates a productive day from a blank one — not the conditions, not the time of day. There is always a highest number in a forecast, and calling it your best window would be inventing one.

Yes. There is no public map, no accounts and no sharing unless you ask for it. Your logbook is on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud. See the privacy policy.

Always, and for free. Settings → Export gives you a spreadsheet (CSV), structured data (JSON), or an archive with your photos. Export is never behind the subscription.

Analysis, never storage. Unlimited catches, trips, spots, photos, full history and export are free forever. Pro adds the Pattern Finder, condition matching, the Trip Planner, gear and lure analytics, spot comparison and seasonal reports.

Settings → Subscription → Restore. It works without an account. If it still does not appear, email me with the Apple Account you subscribed with.

It only fills in what it matched. A number with no unit is read as a count of fish, never as a weight, and if it hears two weights it uses neither and shows you both. It also only recognises species and lures that are already in your log.

If you logged it with no signal, CatchIQ fetches the weather later and fills it in; Settings shows how many are still pending. If the weather was never available for that place and time it stays empty rather than being guessed, and the catch is unaffected.

Email hello@techy.eus with your iOS version, your device and what you were doing. If a catch is missing, say so first — that is the one thing this app is not allowed to get wrong, and it goes to the front of the queue.
